The High Peak local bluegrass band, an acoustic five-piece with harmony vocals, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, guitar and double bass. Lively upbeat mixture of instrumentals and vocals in the tradition of the early bluegrass pioneers of the Fifties.

Hear songs from regular contributors to Buxton's Club Acoustic open mic sessions, featuring blues, jazz, folk, pop and original compositions plus a sing-along finale. AMAZING LANDMARKS & LEGENDS - High Peak Artists
The region abounds with legends - Robin Hood and Little John, Merlin and King Arthur, everything from boggarts to black dogs, from mermaids to missing planes. Most relate to particular landmarks. FROM LIFE - Tony Hall
Tony Hall draws from life, from familiar things: a person, some flowers, a jacket. Drawings are made in a single sitting, sometimes with pencil and paper, sometimes on printing plates, sometimes digitally. He aims to make as direct a connection as possible between what is seen and what is drawn.

PAINTED TALES - Sue Prince
Sue's inspiration is the Swedish folk art of bonadsmålning (painting decorative wall hangings). Works are narrative and communicative with words as important as images. They are tales told through traditional techniques, recording events and beliefs. Bonad painting echoes folk art through time from Egyptian tomb paintings to the Bayeux Tapestry.
