Bumper Drama Programme for Buxton Fringe

A massive Drama section comprises 27 entries in this year's fast-growing Buxton Festival Fringe (July 8-24).

For 17 days, the spa town of Buxton will play host to an incredibly diverse selection of stage entertainment. Watch out for:

There really is something for everyone from contemporary drama - Larkin With Women, Portrait of Dora, Dark Journey - to evergreen classics such as Shakespeare and Chekhov. Whether it is a large-scale musical you are after or an intimate experience such as Will Bligh's One-Man Hamlet, there is no shortage of entertainment on offer at the Buxton Festival Fringe.

Don't forget to plan your Fringe-going using the free Fringe programme, widely available from June, or the website: www.buxtonfringe.com, where listings are published in full for the first time. Many shows are now bookable through the Buxton Opera House. Look out for an asterix next to the listing.

Stuck for something to do between shows? Come and see us at the Fringe Information Desk or if you really want to support the arts, have a Fringe Beer at the Old Clubhouse - 10p in every pint goes to the Fringe!
