Fringe opens for Entries with a Party

After a successful 2013, Buxton Festival Fringe 2014 opens for entries on December 1st Anybody interested in the Fringe is invited to the Green Man Gallery between 6 and 8pm for wine and music, as well as the chance to look around the gallery.

Entry fees remain unchanged again this year, before February 28th entry will be the cheapest at £45, rising to £65 in March and £80 for last minute entries up to April 20th, which is the absolute final deadline to appear in the printed programme.

Fringe Chair Keith Savage commented, "We're delighted that we've been able to keep our entry fees low, thanks to the generous sponsorship of the University of Derby at Buxton, as well as supporters including Trevor Osborne of the Crescent Spa Hotel Project, the Cavendish Arcade, the Old Hall and High Peak Borough Council, and Fringe Friends."

The Fringe does not select or censor and entries traditionally come from a wide variety of the arts including music, drama, visual arts, dance, film, comedy as well as workshops, walks and talks. Anyone can enter the Fringe, from professional theatre companies and comedians trying out material for Edinburgh, to new performers and amateur groups. Entrants organise their own venue and enter the Fringe online.
