Floella at Fringe 2020

Floella the bird has enjoyed being part of the (mainly online) Sculpture Trail in Buxton Fringe taking pride of place outside Hawkshead. She had been a little sad during lockdown but was really cheered by these letters and pictures from children of the Year 3 class at Harpur Hill Primary. Floella will soon have a new home at an exhibition in Buxton's Cavendish Arcade from 1st August to 31st October (Thurs, Fri and Sat. See further info about the Sculpture Trail. We also had a poem emailed to us by Max aged 4:

Don't be sad
dont be mad
flap your wings
fly to space
get some cheese
from the moon
eat it with a rainbow spoon.

Amber, age 2, was sad that Floella felt lonely because she'd not seen her friends for a while. Here she is giving her a nice stroke!

...Amber also did a picture to cheer Floella up! (She's not quite old enough for a poem just yet!)
