Magical Musical Journeys at Buxton Festival Fringe

Who said the Festival had all the best tunes? Like the Drama section, Music is massive in this year's Fringe programme with something for everyone, from jazz to Rasta and classical to electro pop.

Buxton Festival Fringe (July 8-24) has once again proved itself the place to enjoy music. While opera reigns supreme at the Buxton Festival, the Fringe offers something a little different:

Intimate performances: Amaretti Chamber Orchestra, Angela Rowley & Anna LeHair, CCH: Travels with a Broken Heart
Family fun: Tea and cakes with Buxton Brass Quintet, Public-I: Music on the Marketplace
Best in acoustic: Darren Poyzer, The Vine Magazine, University of Derby Theatre Arts: Late 'n Live
Orchestral works: High Peak Orchestra, King Edward Musical Society of Macclesfield, Manchester Recorder Orchestra
Early music: Accordes, Partita
All that jazz: Ian Millar & Dominic Spencer, Leicester Siljeur

But this is just to scratch the surface. We also have Sheffield City Opera, Romanian Troupe Margento, beat poetry, country music, musical numbers, organ recitals and so much more besides!
