BUMPER DRAMA PROGRAMME FOR BUXTON FRINGE

Buxton Festival Fringe (July 7-23) is renowned for its vast and varied Drama output .

For 17 days, the spa town of Buxton will play host to an incredibly diverse selection of stage entertainment. Watch out for:

Shakespeare as you have never seen him before - in a cave, in a bookshop, in song, in the sunshine, in a reworked cyber-sex version...
Brand new managed venue: Check out large programme of events at Underground Venues, Old Hall Hotel.
Return of Fringe Award-winning talent including Sidetracked Theatre, fragiletheatre, George Telfer (in Burton's Last Call), REC Theatre Co.
Top quality newcomers such as Tongue in Cheek with What the Dickens! and Two Friends Productions with Two Sisters, performed by RSC actors Candida Gubbins and Caroline Harding, directed by Chris Gascoyne (Coronation Street's Peter Barlow).
The weird and wonderful: Kath Burlinson in Association with The Weird Sisters; three-minute drama from Fieldmouse Theatre; Da Vinci intrigue in Encounters of Another Kind's A Plight of Insomnia; boogie in the bayou from Taste Productions' Where's Waldo?; queer goings on from Vista Theatre Co.

There really is something for everyone from contemporary drama to comedy and classic theatre.
