BEST EVER FRINGE SUNDAY OFFERS A TASTE OF TREATS TO COME

This year's largest ever Buxton Festival Fringe is to be complemented by the biggest ever Fringe Sunday.

The free extravaganza, which aims to highlight some of the wealth of entertainment on offer during the Fringe (July 7-23), will take place on Sunday July 9 from 4.30pm to 7pm in the Pavilion Gardens.

Says organiser Jean Ball: 'With such a big Fringe, you can easily find yourself spoilt for choice. This is an opportunity to sample lots of different shows to help you make your mind up. It is a free, open-air smorgasbord of performance talent. We're inviting everyone to come to the beautiful, recently renovated Pavilion Gardens Park alongside the Buxton Opera House and experience for themselves the plethora of creative talents that Buxton Festival Fringe has to offer.'

Families are welcome and the informal show based around the bandstand will feature many of the acts to be seen in the Fringe with treats including:

The Buxton Festival Fringe kicks off this Friday July 7 with the biggest Fringe ever. Pick up one of the widely available Fringe programmes or see the Fringe website on http://www.buxtonfringe.org.uk for full details. From July 7 you can also visit the Fringe Information Desk, open from 10am to 4pm during the Fringe and situated at the entrance to the Pavilion Gardens next to the Opera House.
