Musical moods at Buxton Festival Fringe

Buxton Festival Fringe (July 6-22) provides a wonderful programme of musical events to complement the impressive, opera-based repertoire of the prestigious Buxton Festival running at the same time.

The choice of entertainment on offer is truly eclectic and this year, bigger than ever. Take your pick from:

  • Top quality orchestras: Amaretti Chamber (featuring ex-professional Halle players); award-winning High Peak; Fringe favourite, Manchester Recorder; King Edward Musical Society of Macclesfield
  • Medieval and Renaissance music: excellent repertoires from Accordes, Aitone and Partita
