Former chair launches Fringe40 exhibition and parties with stars

Special guest Barbara Langham, an early Buxton Fringe chair in the 1980s and former Mayor of the High Peak, opened the new Fringe40 archive exhibition upstairs at the Green Man Gallery on June 8th. Pictured with current Fringe chair Keith Savage, she also joined in festivities downstairs as the Fringe celebrated the publication of its jumbo printed programme with a packed party featuring performances from Adrian Lord, Certain Curtain Theatre, Hattie Hatstar, Sheridan Shacklethwaite, Egriega, Charles Ormrod, Georgina Watson, League of Ladies, Genevieve Carver, Naomi Paul, Jimmy Andrex, Sam Slide and Johnny Dysfunctional.

Fringe40 runs from July 3-24.
